23 August 2008 - 7:30 PM - "Redeemed" from Yale, MI will be in concert at the Forster Park Pavilion Gospel Sing.  The Park is located 5 1/2 miles north of Port Sanilac on M-25.

Sunday, August 24, 2008 - 10 AM - Worship Service and Songfest with Mark and Andrea Forester at Bayshore Camp in Sebewaing.  Later: 2 PM - Joyful Sounds, Stronghold and The Grimshaws will please the audience with a presentation of the Gospel in Song.

August 24th, 208 - 9:30 AM - "The Calvarymen Quartet" will be in concert at the Cass City United Methodist Church.  (I believe the church is located on Cemetery Road just north of town.)

24 August 2008 - 11 AM - "The Gospelmen Quartet" will be in concert at the First Baptist Church, 5372 Seymour Road, Swartz Creek, MI.

25 August 2008 - 7 PM - "The Calvarymen Quartet" will be in concert at the Clio Amphitheater in Clio, MI.

Labor Day Weekend, Friday 29 August, Saturday 30 August and Sunday 31 August.  Join Us for the "Fifth Annual Thumb Area Gospel Festival".  This Great Event will be held at the Missionary Campground, 8700 Wilcox Rd., Brown City, MI.  Phone 810-346-2480.    Friday Evening concert starts at 7 PM with some old Gaither Homecoming Friends, "The Weatherfords" and "Forgiven" will Bless your hearts along with "Mark & Andrea Forester" and your host group "The Strength's."  Saturday: Concert starts at noon after a Chapel Service and Praise and Worship at 10:30 AM.  Concert includes (not in order of performance): "Heritage Quartet," Joyful Sounds," "The Kings," "The Lyons Family," "Mark & Andrea Forester," "Not Ashamed," "Redeemed," "The Royalheirs,"  "The Smother's," "Souls Harbor," "Strength and Company," and "The Walker Family."  In the Evening we'll feature "The Forgiven Trio" and "The Mystery Men Quartet."  Sunday Service will start at 10:30 AM with guest speaker Bishop Dan Coleman of the PCG.  Music will start at noon with many of the above named groups plus "The Rydell Family" and "The Willards."  There will be a $5.oo donation each day or a three day pass for $12.  For more information contact Strength Ministries at 810-346-8000 or email at strengthandcompany@yahoo.com .  Full hook-up camping is $20 per night and Lodge rooms are $35 per room and you bring your own bedding and toiletries.  Reservations call 810-346-2480.  Concessions available on the grounds and new this year: A Pig Roast on Sunday.  I was recently advised that "The Journeymen Quartet" have been added to the weekend but I do not have information on which day they will be there.  I believe that this is another National Group.

6 September 2008 - 6 PM - "Mark and Andrea Forester" will be having their homecoming concert at the Dixie Baptist Church .  Their guests again will be "The Booth Brothers."  The church is located on Dixie Hwy just north of the I-75 interchange at Clarkston.  Reserved artist circle tickets are $19 and regular reserved tickets are $18.  Contact Encore Productions for further information.

31 December 2008 - 8 PM - "The Thurston's" will be in concert along with several other groups for a New Years Eve Concert at the Cass City High School.  The High School is located on the north side of Cass City on Cemetery Street.  (I believe that's the name of the street.)
